Sigma 17-50mm F2.8 EX DC OS HSM

One of the biggest advantages that DSLRs is all about changing lenses. I only had two: AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G VRII kit lens and AF-S DX NIKKOR 35mm f/1.8G prime lens. Unless I want to take airplane or wild nature pictures, any focal length beyond 50mm is not much use.

AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G VRII kit lens is a very light lens with good quality as well, but I wanted to try something different. Sigma 17-50mm f/2.8 has good reputations about the quality as well as much brighter pictures because the lens has fixed f/2.8 aperture. I tried to take some pictures with this lens, and I am so far impressed with the quality. However, I am less impressed about the weight. Sigma 17-50mm f/2.8 lens is a quite heavy lens, as I get used to take pictures with Nikon retractable kit lens and prime lens. Otherwise I highly recommend this sigma lens.
